Here are a few photos from some of the field trips we have taken so far this summer.

These first two are from Fontenelle Forest.  Club members had the chance to learn about animals native to our area and do some hiking.  They really liked petting the wild animals.

The second set of pictures was taken at Bass Pro Shop.  For this excursions members were shown how to hold, shoot and be safe with a gun and they were also able to learn a little bit about archery.

Attached is a photo of some kids enjoying the Kingdom of the Night at the Zoo and another one from Bass Pro shops showing the kids how to use the binoculars.

Thanks so much.  The kids are having an incredible and adventurous summer!

Local Chapter sponsors Outdoor "Adventures" for children of all ages.

The twelfth annual "Spring Fishing Adventure" on June 4th at Lake Manawa's Fish and Game Club.  Around 250 youth attended our Fishing Adventure, one of our Outdoor Adventures oriented experiences for children.  Most of our children are from single parent families and 95% qualify for free or reduced lunch.  These children not only learn skills to enjoy a multitude of Outdoor activities they also learn respect, responsibilities, develop character through age appropriate tasks and being a service to others.
